Responsibly sourced

At MASCo Walcot we believe in sustainably sourcing our materials. Examples include reclaimed bricks, stone, timber and architectural features. The majority of our materials are acquired from demolitions sties, refurbishment projects and private individuals. We always look to minimise our environmental impact by purchasing within the local area.

The heart of the business is based around our passion to supply reclaimed materials, this is becoming increasingly challenging due to a shortage of premium reclaimed goods and the finite nature of our industry, but whilst there are good materials to be sourced we will continue to supply you with the best available.

To partner the reclaimed goods, we also offer a carefully chosen selection of high quality sustainably sourced new materials. Our oak flooring is PEFC certificated from managed European Forests and our imported Indian sandstone comes with an ethical trading certificate.

We adhere to the Salvo Code, set up in 1995. It is a simple voluntary code for dealers who buy and sell architectural antiques, antique garden ornament and reclaimed building materials. The Salvo Code aims to give customers greater confidence, when they buy. The code promotes ethical sale of items that have not been stolen or removed from protected historic buildings without permission.
