MASCo Floors, Doors & Hardware

The restoration of an old property requires attention to detail. Cottages, farmhouses, period town houses and barn conversions all have an individual style and character that deserve to be preserved.

Wooden floors have been a classical feature in traditional homes for centuries. Our selection of character oak, Regency oak and engineered continue this tradition whilst meeting the requirements of modern day living.

All of the boards are T&G, and are machined to a high standard. Dado railing, skirting and architrave made from new oak are available in a choice of profiles and depths. Pine boards are available for both replacement and new building projects and are always in demand. All of our reclaimed boards are de-nailed and inspected for quality.

Original internal Limestone flooring is very rare and highly sought after. We offer a selection of Cotswold internal flag available from our local quarries. A popular alternative is imported sandstone and limestone, which is available in a selection of finishes.

We advise sealing these and the local quarried flags: this will help achieve the traditional shiny but smooth surface that is typical of aged flagstones. To achieve this look, try our own ancient recipe.

Classic designs for door hardware continues to be in great demand because of their timeless appearance and functionality and are ideally suited for listed and period properties. Original pieces are perfect for that one-off project.

Our high quality reproduction hardware offers clients involved in larger projects a choice of traditional designs without the inconvenience of limited supplies. We carry a large selection of door knobs, escutcheons, door knockers, letterboxes, hinges, bolts, door pulls, door bells and much more.
